Kannada font - Indira
This is a Kannada script handmade in freestyle gothic format. I wanted to create a unique yet simple styling for the script. Kannada script has always been extremely rounded and hence was the biggest challenge to overcome to be able to adapt the Gothic styling. I have named it after my Mother - INDIRA
I started with inking it using my calligraphy tools and photo inks on drawing sheets. The ink started to bleed and became blotchy, however, it was all with experimenting..
